Gaspard Takes Second Place in International Design Competition!
“I couldn’t be more proud of our team, and the effort that went in to creating this chasuble,” said Jason Gaspard, president of Gaspard, Inc. “We took a chance, but I felt confident that our work would stand up amongst the well-known quality of the European makers. Even so, I have to admit that I was very surprised to learn that we had been given second place. We’re just thrilled.” The chasuble is on display at the Cathédrale de Monaco until the end of May 2011. |
Competing with 18 highly-regarded chasuble artists and designers from around the world, Gaspard, Inc., received second place in a contest launched in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Cathedral of Monaco. The selection was made by a jury presided over by Princess Caroline of Hanover.
