Altar Linens

The Altar Linen is placed last, on top of the altar parament. It should be the exact width of the altar top (mensa) and have an even drop on both sides. A typical drop is one-third or two-thirds of the way from the altar top to the floor. When using colored seasonal paraments, the drops at the side of the Altar Linen should match the drop at the front of the Superfrontal, Antependium, or other covering.
