October 4, 2022
The Holy Family refers to Jesus Christ, his mother the Virgin Mary, and his Saint Joseph. This term is used mainly within Catholic tradition, and sometimes within Protestantism and Eastern Christianity. Pope Francis has said that the holy family can also be a model for modern day society, which he believes is often too focused on individualism. He has urged people to look to the example of the Holy Family as a way of rediscovering the importance of community.
