Bringing Craftsmanship and Heart to Gaspard’s Assembly Department
At Gaspard Inc., every product we create is a testament to the dedication and skill of our team. Today, we’re excited to introduce you to Amelis, a valued member of our assembly department who has been with us for nearly eight years.
Amelis’s journey to Gaspard began with a recommendation from a friend—and a passion for dressmaking that started in her home country. “I took a course in dressmaking, and when I learned about Gaspard, I knew it was the perfect place to grow my skills,” she shares. The fact that Gaspard’s work serves churches was especially meaningful to her. “Since I was a child, I’ve loved visiting churches, so being part of something that supports faith communities really motivates me.”
No two days are ever the same for Amelis. “Every day at Gaspard is a new experience with each client, and that keeps me creative and focused,” she says. One project that stands out in her memory is the restoration of a hand-painted portrait on canvas—an artwork nearly a century old. “We were able to repair it so beautifully that it looked new again. It reminded me of how the Bible says Jesus will make all things new. It also made me realize that when we work together for the good of others, we can achieve great things.”
Amelis takes pride in her work, but she’s always striving for more. “I’m proud of what I do, but I know I can always do better. Every day, I work to improve so our clients feel satisfied and happy with the results. Their happiness is what drives me.”
When she’s not at Gaspard, Amelis enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends, soaking up the fresh air and the beauty of nature. She also loves going to church with her children and sharing Bible stories that inspire them to be their best selves. “If we put ourselves in Jesus’ hands, he helps us become better every day,” she says.
