Meet the Makers:Jason Gaspard
A Legacy of Craftsmanship and Connection
Jason Gaspard, President of Gaspard, Inc., didn’t just step into a role—he stepped into a legacy. Born and raised in the heart of the vestment and parament industry, Jason has been actively involved in Gaspard for nearly 30 years. His journey is not just one of leadership, but of passion, creativity, and a deep commitment to enhancing worship through artistry and service.
What sets Jason apart is his unwavering dedication to understanding the unique needs of each customer. “My favorite part of helping customers,” he shares, “is listening to their vision and transforming it into something tangible. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a concept evolve into a beautiful, custom-made piece that elevates their worship experience.”
One story that still brings a smile to Jason’s face happened about 15 years ago. He was meeting with an Episcopal priest from Chicago who had a very specific vision: a set of ornate, traditional Roman-style chasubles. During their conversation, Jason casually mentioned a competitor’s name. The priest immediately exclaimed, “How dare you mention them! I would never do business with them.” Curious, Jason asked why. The priest replied, “Because they won’t do custom work and Gaspard is much nicer and easier to work with.” That moment wasn’t just humorous—it was affirming. It highlighted the very essence of what makes Gaspard special: a willingness to go the extra mile, to tailor every detail, and to treat every customer like family.
Behind the scenes, Gaspard’s customer service is a quiet powerhouse. In a world that demands instant gratification, Gaspard stands firm in its commitment to quality and customization. While standard clergy apparel is kept in limited stock, nearly everything else is made to order. “Yes, you have options,” Jason says, “but you won’t find another supplier that offers the level of service, the breadth of custom options, and the craftsmanship of our talented staff and dedicated seamstresses. Made to Order. Made to Last. Made in America. Satisfaction guaranteed. If it’s not right, we’ll make it right. Trust me, it’s worth the wait.”
Even during the busiest seasons, Jason remains a beacon of positivity. “My glass is half full, not half empty,” he says with a smile. “Keeping a positive attitude is essential—not just for me, but for the entire team.”
When asked about his favorite Gaspard product, Jason doesn’t hesitate: “Our paraments. They’re more than fabric—they’re storytelling tools. Each set, in its liturgical colors, reflects the seasons of the church and brings depth and meaning to worship. That’s what we do—we enhance worship.”
Outside of work, Jason is all about balance and joy. He cherishes time with his wife Raechel Gaspard, family, friends, and three of his beloved dogs – Frankie, Lucy, and Stella. He loves attending music festivals, traveling, and soaking up the sun on the lake. These moments of fun and relaxation fuel his creativity and keep his spirit light.
Jason Gaspard isn’t just the president of a company—he’s the steward of a tradition, a creator of beauty, and a champion of service. Through every stitch and every story, he continues to shape a legacy that uplifts and inspires.
