Meet the Makers:Joe

At Gaspard, we believe the heart of our craftsmanship lies with our talented team. Today, we’re delighted to introduce Joe, a valued member of our embroidery department who’s been bringing creativity and precision to his work for the past two years.

Joe’s workspace is the definition of calm—organized, tidy, and always ready for the next creative challenge. He thrives in this relaxed setting, viewing every day as a new opportunity to learn. “There’s always something new to figure out,” Joe shares. “That keeps me motivated and excited to come in each day.”

One of Joe’s favorite memories on the job is working on an exceptionally custom funeral pall. “It was a unique piece,” he recalls. “I had the chance to both digitize the design and run the embroidery machines for the entire project. Watching everything come together made me truly proud.”

Digitizing—translating artwork into stitch instructions for embroidery machines—was once a new skill for Joe, but it’s now something he counts among his greatest accomplishments. “Becoming skilled with digitizing has opened up a whole new side of this craft for me.”

Joe credits his high-quality work to his meticulous habits and perfectionist tendencies. “A neat, clean space makes a world of difference,” he says. “I always do my best on every project and take pride in getting every detail just right.”

When people ask what surprises him most about his job, Joe’s answer is simple: “Pretty much everything! It’s amazing to see each project come to life, from the first idea to the finished product. The process never gets old.”

Outside of work, Joe can be found spending time with his children and family, cherishing those moments together just as much as the creations that come out of his embroidery room.
