Meet the Makers:Lupe

At Gaspard Inc., our team is the heart of everything we do. Today, we’re excited to introduce you to Lupe, who has been part of the Gaspard family for an incredible 10 years! Her story is woven with tradition, passion, and a genuine love for her craft.

Lupe’s connection to sewing goes all the way back to her childhood. “Ever since I was little, I was familiar with sewing—my mother and sisters had a sewing business,” she shares. That early experience sparked an interest that eventually led her to Gaspard. And now, she has the joy of working alongside her sister Maty, making their workspace feel even more like home.

A typical day for Lupe is about keeping things consistent and focused. She finds satisfaction in the rhythm of her work and always strives to put her best effort into every project. “Sometimes I succeed on the first try, sometimes the second—but I always do my best,” Lupe says. Her favorite item to create? The chasuble—a garment she’s mastered over the years and takes great pride in crafting.

Lupe’s dedication doesn’t go unnoticed. She laughs when she mentions how people are often surprised to learn about her work at Gaspard. “They don’t expect the level of detail and skill that goes into what we do,” she says. But for Lupe, it’s more than just a job—it’s a calling.

Outside of work, Lupe is active in her Catholic church, where she sings and teaches faith to children. It’s another way she shares her gifts and passion for helping others. “I love being able to give back and inspire the next generation,” she says.

Lupe also wants people to know that Gaspard is a place of constant innovation. “There are always new things to learn and ways to grow here. I’m happy with what I do because, for me, it’s not just a job—it’s something I truly love.”
